Broken Mirror

you got me a mirror,

I looked in the mirror,

I saw me, and thought

I was beautiful and complete

but as time goes by,

I looked in the mirror

I see me, and thought

I was lost and vague

I thought it was me

the longer I stared

I guess now I know,

I owned a broken mirror
